The four members of Team America are sworn to protect the world from terrorism, but clearly that protection comes with a price. One member is killed as the Team destroys half of Paris and must replace that member because of an impending nuclear strike orchestrated by Kim Jong Il, the leader of North Korea. They find a young actor, Gary Johnston, to go undercover at an arms dealer's hideout in the middle east, and he discovers the plan. Many members of the Film Actor's Guild lead by Alec Baldwin, who disapprove of Team America's tactics, try to thwart them, unknowingly helping Kim Jong Il! In a rousing speech in North Korea, Gary shows the world the evil plan unfolding around them and wins the love of fellow team member Lisa.
