"O Brother, Where Art Thou?" is about Everett (George Clooney), an imprisoned husband and father in the early 20th century Deep South. He escapes along with two friends, Pete (John Turturro) and Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson), and travels to find his wife and daughters. He goes through several adventures with unscrupulous businessmen, religious fanatics and radio promoters, a soul-selling blues singer and others, all in an allegorical retelling of Homer's "The Odyssey". Along the way, he becomes a well-known musical and radio figure, while leading the somewhat stupid Pete and Delmar through their trials and tribulations.
