"The Weather Man" is a story about a small town weather man (Nicolas Cage) who seems to have his life together. He has a high paying job for which very little is expected of him. His career seems to bring him much hapiness. However, his family life is falling apart. His wife no longer wants to be married to him and he cannot seem to prove himself as a good role model for his two children in their times of need. Everyone seems to think that the Weather Man is a big screw up, especially his father who was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The Weather Man decides to turn his life around to prove to everyone that he is worth his own father's acceptance.
