This movie is based on a true story, year 1974. The story is about Samuel J. Bicke (Sean Penn), man who lost all the illusions of promises of the "American dream". His wife just left him and he's stuck on his not job. One of his friends gives him an idea to start their own business. Since they don't have any money to begin with, the only chance for success is loan for small companies that president Nixon promotes. But he got rejected for the loan and he becomes obsessed with president Nixon. He starts to blame president for everything that happens in his life and he doubts in his politics towards Vietnam. He start to activate in political since and he believes that he the one who is going to stop presedent. He feels disgrace and shame for his country, for its corruption and anarchie. He plans to hijack the plane and go straight on The White House.
