“Identity” is a 2003 thriller starring Ray Liotta, John Cusack and Amanda Peet. Set at a roadside motel in the Nevada desert, a torrential rainstorm strands a group of strangers together for the night. At first they seem like nothing more than a hodgepodge of unlucky travelers with nothing in common- a prostitute, a corrections officer transporting a prisoner, a narcissistic actress… simply victims of a washed out road. But they soon discover that they have more in common then they think when the plot takes a deadly twist and the body count starts to rise. With a suspenseful storyline and a hold-your-breath atmosphere of constant pressure, the unlikely outcome of this careening plot line is one that won’t be seen coming.
