Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) is back for a new adventure and this time he must defend his family's honor when the family is accused by Mitch Wilkinson (Ed Harris) of conspiring in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. As Ben Gates tries to clear his family's name, he is joined by "ex"-girlfriend Dr. Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) and assistant Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) as they travel to France and England unraveling the clues that will hopefully help clear the Gates family name. Not only will the clues help clear the Gates family it will also lead them to the most important discovery of their lives.
