The Nativity Story
Keisha Castle-Hughes
Oscar Isaac
This film is a dramatic recounting of the story of the events leading up to the birth of Jesus Christ. The film follows Mary (Keisha Castle-Hughes) and Joseph (Oscar Isaac) as they make their way across the desert in search of a safe haven for Mary to give birth to their child, while avoiding the dangerous King Herod (CiarĂ¡n Hinds), a tyrant bent on destroying the infant. The story that appears is a familliar one, with the manger birth and the visit from the wise men. The film focuses strongly on Mary's trials, as she worries for her son and for herself. Also portrayed are some of Mary's family members including her mother Anna (Hiam Abbass) and cousin Elizabeth (Shoreh Aghdashloo).

Night At The Museum
Ben Stiller
Carla Gugino
Night at the Museum is an action-adventure movie in which a father, struggling for acceptance by his son, is torn between a dream job as an inventor and finding a dull, steady job. He is pushed to the wire when his ex-wife will not allow him to visit his son unless he finds gainful employment and an acceptable place to live. The downtrodden father then finds a job as a night watchman for the local natural history museum, which definitely seems dull and steady. Things take a surprising turn at night, when things are not as quiet as they seem at the museum. The resulting nightly adventures give plenty of excitement to the man's job, and also provide the promise of gaining his son's trust back.

Richard Nixon (Anthony Hopkins) is the 37th president of the United States but his presidency comes to a tragic end when he resigns before he can be impeached. His wife Pat Nixon (Joan Allen) is the only one who knows him beyond the role of president. She understands his personal flaws and his tortured past that lead to his failure. Richard was raised as a Quaker and never believed he could live up to his parent's strict expectations. Then, he constantly compares himself to his predecessor, John F. Kennedy. But these alone don't lead to his demise, but it was the system of the presidency itself and the bureaucracy that surrounds the role. When Richard discovers that former CIA officer E. Howard Hunt (Ed Harris) is involved in the Watergate scandal, he knows he is going to be undone. However, he holds on as long as possible to try to uphold his facade to the country before he is forced to resign.
